Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, starting with NASA and the Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of Space Tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up working in space, and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. The reporter also reported on the 2020 presidential campaign as well as the efforts of two administrations to fight the coronavirus. She also traveled extensively with the Vice President and President of the United States and was a part of a classified trip to Afghanistan with former President Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing in local TV news stations in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin utilized her knowledge behind the lens to start Field Mouse Films. The firm specialized in making documentary films, and became a preferred choice of corporate clients such as Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism at Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., with her family, including their daughter, who is three years old.
